When our youngest brother was told he couldn't drink alcohol, we had a choice: let him sit on the sidelines, or find something better. So we did what any family would do – we all raised a glass together. Non-alcoholic, obviously.
"nonnie" started as our own word for it. A casual, "fancy a nonnie?" around the table. Before long, it stuck. And we thought: if we're looking for this, others must be too.
So we made nonnie official. A proper alcohol-free beer, brewed in Newcastle with a local brewery who share our obsession with flavour. Bold, full-bodied, unapologetically tasty. The kind of beer that doesn't need an excuse or an explanation.
